Completed contracts and certification tests must be sent in with a valid insurance license and completed AHIP or Gorman certification.
Elderplan contracting is available in this blog. The contracting for this company is done online through a link. Once all information is submitted and processed, the broker will be provided with a certification link. Emblem Health uses a paper appointment document. A link for the Emblem certification will be provided once the paper appointment has been submitted. Emblem paperwork must include a valid insurance license and E and O certificate. Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield holds the BCBS contract in Connecticut while Empire holds the BCBS contract in NYC and surrounding areas.
Those who are new to BCBS will need to pay a $100 fee in order to be appointed to sell either companies products. Contracting for both companies is included in this blog.
